Plainly put: Students and Teachers benefit!
The Be Kind People Project™ distributed 10,000 Classroom Kindness Kits to teachers who are working in some of the most underprivileged areas in the U.S. during the 2011/2012 school year. And in 2012/2013, we’ll reach nearly 50,000 teachers and 1.75 million students in the areas that need the most support and encouragement! Check out the plan!
And we are grateful for the partnership with organizations that can help us make the dream of reaching these students and teachers a reality!
The Be Kind People Project™ is working with Teach For America to highlight their tireless efforts on behalf of our nation’s teachers and students.
Teach For America believes that we can provide an excellent education for kids in low-income communities.
Although 15 million American children face the extra challenges of poverty, an increasing body of evidence shows they can achieve at the highest levels.
They recruit a diverse group of leaders with a record of achievement who work to expand educational opportunity, starting by teaching for two years in a low-income community.
They provide intensive training, support and career development that helps these leaders increase their impact and deepen their understanding of what it takes to close the achievement gap.
A growing movement of leaders, now 33,000 strong, works at every level of education, policy and other professions, to ensure that all children can receive an excellent education.

The Be Kind People Project™ is also happy to be working with Treasures 4 Teachers to highlight their important contributions to teachers throughout Arizona.
The organization collects and repurposes items donated by businesses, organizations, and individuals for use in the classroom. This non-profit organization advocates assisting teachers with basic items and innovative supplies at a fraction of the retail cost through a Reusable Resource Distribution Center.
Treasures 4 Teachers currently serves thousands of teaching professionals ranging from home schools, child care centers, K-12 schools, charter schools, colleges and other non-profit organizations touching over 23,000 children in Arizona to date. Beyond classroom materials, educators also have access to the T4T resource library and free use of equipment and machines. By providing constructive use of business supplies, the students win and the environment wins as well. T4T has diverted more than 100,000 cubic feet of discarded materials from the landfills assisting with the green efforts of our society.
