Subway Restaurants’ Cycle for Success

The Be Kind People Project is proud to partner with Subway Restaurants to promote a healthy lifestyle through their Cycle for Success program!

Teachers submit nominations of their students who exhibit positive character and are influential in their classroom.  The Be Kind People Project selects the winning students and honors them, in conjunction with Subway Cycle for Success.  Subway presents a bike, helmet and lock to these honored children in Arizona, and The Be Kind People Project brings The Be Kind Pledge and The Be Kind Crew to the classroom!

Cycle for Success focuses on increasing children’s self-esteem, encouraging the community to become involved in the lives of at-risk children and promoting volunteerism in local schools. Subway Kids & Sports of Arizona and The Be Kind People Project want to advocate health and safety of children, recognize random acts of kindness that may otherwise go unnoticed, and encourage community involvement in the lives of at-risk youth.

Check out our photos of our February 28, 2013 Subway Cycle for Success presentations to Edith Morales Garcia and Esther Castro at Coyote Ridge Elementary in Glendale, AZ. And, Jared from The Jared Foundation, who is changing lives across America with his message to fight childhood obesity, made a surprise visit! His message of a healthy body, along with The Be Kind People Project’s message of healthy emotions and relationships, work perfectly together!
