Our Mission
Our mission is to improve the overall education environment in our communities by purposefully thanking teachers and positively impacting students.
The Story of the Be Kind People Project™
This is the story of one kind gesture. That became two. That became four. That became 4,000. That is close to 400,000. And one day will become 400,000,000. It’s a story of how people just can’t help themselves from joining in. It’s instinctive for humans to be kind to one another.
What started out as a small gathering of women who share a commitment to learning, creating, helping and supporting others in meaningful ways, has turned into an annual event called Holiday Crafts, Cheers & Laughs ®. The event now boasts over 400 attendees in both Phoenix, Arizona and Kansas City, Missouri.
The event’s success of honoring those who are traditionally the “unsung heroes” of our society spurred on a passion to do two things:
- To honor those who are integral to the fabric of our communities: Teachers!
- To inspire kindness in those who are the future of our communities: Students!
And The Be Kind People project™ was created!
We have honored teachers in Phoenix and Kansas City with 10,000 Teacher Appreciation Gifts that were produced, assembled and personalized by the Holiday Crafts, Cheers & Laughs ® guests.
But it doesn’t stop there. We will impact teachers and students throughout the nation with Kindness Kits, BEE Kind Assemblies, and BEE Kind Kid™ Pledge!
We have two big goals:
1. Reach 10,000 teachers to give thanks and gratitude for their hard work
2. Have 1,000,000 kids take the “BEE Kind Kid™” Pledge
Help us achieve both goals!
Get Involved with us, and be part of the Project!
* Thank a teacher today, or
* Donate to the project, or
* Buy some really cool stuff that teachers and students will love! , or
* Buy a Kindness Kit for your school’s teachers, or
* Take the BEE Kind Kid™ Pledge today!
And it’s a Global thing!
We also have the honor of being selected as a delegate to the World Kindness Movement!
We are pleased to join the ranks of The Random Acts of Kindness Movement and The Global Classroom Connection in spurring on kindness in The United States of America!
Teachers work hard to instruct children and young adults. They educate and inspire their students to do more than finish their homework. Their ability to share knowledge will leave an indelible mark on others long beyond the afternoon bell. And lives are changed by the caring and compassion of…
OUR NATION’S TEACHERS.
“always be a little kinder than necessary”
